Announcing the First (Annual?) La Casa’s Got Talent Show
Do you have a hidden talent? Can you sing, play an instrument, tell jokes, dance, have a pet with talent, or do magic tricks as an example? We need you.
We are announcing the First (Annual?) La Casa’s Got Talent Show. This is a show that will highlight La Casa resident talent, for the benefit of the Voices of La Casa. This is a free-will benefit donation concert, to help the Voices defray costs for music purchases and other expenses.
The show date is Sunday, March 1, 2015 at 7:00 PM.
To help discover our local talent, we will be holding auditions at the Rec Hall on two dates:
Thursday, December 11 at 2:00 PM, and
Tuesday, January 6 at 2:00 PM, to accommodate our snowbirds arriving after the holidays.
Spread the word, tell your resident friends still up north, we need all you talented people. Everyone is welcome to audition, we are only using this process to get the right balance of talent for the show. If fifty guitar players show up, we have a problem!
Tune up that instrument, polish up your dance shoes, or warm up that voice and come help us put together a great show. We will also need volunteers to help with the production; join us even if you don’t want to perform on stage.
We will be telling you more about the show at the upcoming Activity Assn. Wine and Cheese Party in November.
If you have any questions, contact our Stage Director, Paul Reed, or Music Director, Lynn Steger for more information.
