The La Casa Library is located in the Club House and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It contains more than 14,000 items. There are hard back and paperback books in fiction and non-fiction, as well as large print. Westerns and Romances have their own shelves as do books for arts and crafts. There are also nearly 100 jigsaw puzzles, books on CDs and cassette tapes, VHS movies, DVDs, and children’s movies in many different formats. Recent issues of many popular magazines are displayed in racks.
The library is always open for business and operates on the honor system. If you buy books and want to donate them, we are thrilled to have them. The library is run by our librarian, and volunteers who keep it in good order . There are well posted signs and a chart to show you where to find your favorite books.
If you want to scan that book before taking it home, just plop down in the reading area next to the Library and enjoy yourself. Happy Reading!
