La Casa Security

Submitted by Gail Fryer/Tim Davis

La Casa is a gated, secure community with 24 hour security.  When you approach our Park, you meet a friendly guard at the front gate who can keep unsolicited people out.  Your safety is our #1 priority and is part of the amenities when you purchase a property in La Casa.  There is also a need for internal evening security patrol for our facilities and roads.  This is provided by our resident volunteers.  securityLa Casa volunteers are trained to be careful observers and 2 volunteers patrol the park from 9:30 to 11:30 p.m. every night 12 months a year.  If they observe a minor problem, they can contact the front guard security guard via radio.  If there is a critical medical emergency or other dire emergency, they are trained to contact “911.”  Most residents enjoy participating in the security patrol because it ensures peace of mind and a sense of community camaraderie.
