The La Casa Genealogical Society welcomes everyone who is interested in knowing a little more about family; about their ancestors recent or long ago.
The Society meets at 1 PM on the second Wednesday of November and then January through April. Our date and time are always on the La Casa Newsletter calendar. Attendance is open to all residents and renters!
Our purposes are to advance genealogical research and education, and to enjoy fellowship and cooperation among genealogists.
Do you have an adored grandparent you would like to have known more about? Is there a family tale about an uncle who just disappeared? Are you looking for a titillating black sheep- perhaps a great-grandfather who had two families? You are warmly invited to a Society meeting. We’d love to meet you and hear a bit of your story! You can pick up some tips for solving your mysteries.
At Society meetings, we have outside speakers and in-house presenters. Sometimes we share some past research experiences. There is a session where we share our future plans and a follow up on how they turned out.
