During hurricane seasons, or even at times in summer thunderstorms, loose items in your yard or carport can be blown around. Suddenly, aluminum lawn chairs, plastic or potted plants, and other loose items can become deadly. Airborne objects can damage property and even become life-threatening projectiles.
La Casa has a rule about securing loose objects during storm seasons. Whether you plan to remain in Florida year-around or are a seasonal resident, please remember to keep unsecured, loose items inside. If a hurricane is expected, put all non-secured objects inside your home and be prepared to evacuate if directed to do so.
