The La Casa Quilting Group meets regularly each Monday morning at 10 o’clock in the clubhouse all year long.
We welcome those residents new to quilting and wanting to learn and also experienced quilters wanting to share their knowledge.
Our usual pattern includes a new technique or idea each week for those interested.
Those who would rather work on a project of their own choosing are welcome to do so.
We have done community projects as lap quilts for Tidewell Hospice, anti-ouch pouches for the Susan B. Komen Group and doggie beds for a local animal shelter.
The Quilting Group also has a large Quilt Show every few years to show our work to the La Casa Community and our friends.
