I’ve recently become aware that Comcast is rolling out a secondary WiFi network using their installed wireless modems. They are attempting to blanket areas where Comcast/Xfinity exists with a secondary mobile WiFi network that is free for their customers. The network is using their wireless router/modems to create a secondary wifi network with SSID “xfinitywifi or cablewifi”. If you are a Comcast internet customer and have a Comcast login you can attach to these hotspots automatically where ever you find one by logging in ONE time to a hotspot labelled “xfinitywifi or cablewifi” anywhere in United States.
There is one labelled “Lacasa” at 302 Hibisco, but I’ve detected many more in the park and around town. It may be of interest to mobile phone and tablet users who want to cut down on there 3G and 4G data usage while they are out and about. Here is the link to the info:
