Storage Unit Survey on the 40 acres – May, 2021

Dear La Casa Shareholder:

The HOA Board has assigned our Future of La Casa Standing Committee (FLCC) the task of performing a feasibility study on implementing the results of a survey conducted over a 2-year time frame as to the most popular ideas for the 40 acres. The initial results were narrowed down to the 3 most popular ideas:

  • Nature Trails
  • Rental Storage Units
  • Leave the remainder undeveloped

The 1st step in determining the feasibility for the Rental Storage Units is to find out how many storage units are needed. If there is not sufficient demand to cover the operating costs and investment return, the project will not go forward. The storage facilities would offer the following benefits: a substantial savings in rental costs; the convenience and safety within the park; and would produce an income source for our community.

You may email your choices to hoalacasaswfl@gmail.com or print the linked form out, indicate your choices, insert your name, address and lot number and take to the front office between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Please return no later than June 8, 2021.

NOTE: These prices are preliminary estimates and subject to change when final project costs are determined. These prices were determined by taking an average of the costs for surrounding outside storage facilities and reducing the overall average costs by approximately 33%.

Please be advised that this is not a formal commitment to rent a storage unit. It is only a survey. Therefore if you are interested in renting a storage unit, please respond to the survey by following the above return instructions. Thank you for your assistance in our research on this project.
